Thanks to both of you...I see a light at the end of the tunnel of illness. No one has a fever for the first time in over a week! Woot!

Monkey likes to help clean and he likes to help cook as well so we are putting his imitation skills to some good use. I think laundry is something he could master on his own though. Maybe we'll have to start getting him to do his own at least. I'm really getting into the self-help skills thing now. I want him to be *able* to live on his own someday...even if he never does...if that makes sense.

Monkey is 5 1/2...his birthday is in May. If she gets the idea of a remote control I think she'd pick up on the Wii pretty quickly. Monkey has now figured out how to zoom in and out, move side to side and angle the ball in bowling without us having demonstrated it specifically. He's seen us do it and figured it out on his own.

Holly "helps" me with the laundrey and dishes. She puts cloths in from the basket and takes them out and put away dishes in drawers, it takes longer but its fun to let her help.

Sorry you guys are sick. Holly is a wiz on the iPhone, but I think its the touch screen interface, I am not sure she gets the concept of a controller controling whats on the screen, those she certainly knows how the remote works, so who am I to presume, but remind me of how old Monkey is, I would love to start trying Holly out on the wii, it never crossed my mind. But we mostly play mario or rock band, so I would have to find and pull out those other games, they are a lot of fun, Holly's great Grandmother was bownling over christmas, she is 87, it was awesome.
