The oral surgeon told me to avoid dairy while taking vicodin. I stopped taking the vicodin so I could have ice cream. Yes, my mouth hurts but my tummy? It is happy.

I had some vicodin in the hospital after Quinn was born…and ate ice cream, too!
Grammy & Grampy found a new one — rainbow sherbert and strawberries. Really really good. Can’t get enough of it.

I can’t figure out why they told me no dairy. Duhdee was there and heard it too but nothing we can find says to avoid dairy and vicodin. Oh well. I guess I didn’t need the pain meds that badly afterall
We all have our priorities. Good choice.
They said that in 50% of people mixing the two can cause upset stomachs and it’s better to not risk it happening as one wouldn’t want to be sick after having teeth pulled.
As I discovered on Sat. anyway due to a migraine. It was profoundly unpleasant to be that sick when I wasn’t even allowed to spit. I should have just eaten the ice cream.
