Monkey has learned to count this past week. It’s so darned cute, hopefully I can get it on video. Each night after dinner we sit down and blow out the candles. There are seven candles and he can count to seven now! True, he normally starts at “two” (because he doesn’t want just one candle, no way, no how) but he will start at one if prompted and go all the way up. The words are getting clearer and clearer each time. Go Monkey!

I’ve tried twice now…the first time Monkey froze up, as he sometimes does when faced with a camera, and I had to stop. Last night he was primed for a great performance and my batteries died at “One.” Bugger.
