The new IEP was dropped off, I haven’t reviewed it yet so I have no idea if we can sign it or not.
As we were discussing what we need to take with us to the clinic tomorrow I mentioned that we should write up a progress report b/c it was given orally yesterday and I want something for Dr. G. to review. Duhdee informed me that it is attached to the IEP! I was happy to cross this off my list but Duhdee then informed me that the progress report that is attached to Monkey’s IEP? It’s for another boy in his class. OF COURSE IT IS.
Head, meet desk. Wash, rinse, repeat.
His teacher totally copied and pasted and forgot to change the name. Wow.
Oh no… it was actually the other boys report! She gave us someone else’s report by mistake! She did end up dropping ours off and picking up the wrong one a few hours later though.
And this is not the first time. We’ve had this same child’s information stuffed in IEP related packets in the past.
Nothing like good old confidentiality! You guys need a drink.

An elderly couple in our neighborhood dropped off a bottle of wine called “Mommy’s Time Out” while back. I was sorely tempted to sample it but I have to get up too early tomorrow to risk a headache from too much wine…and too much wine is pretty much what I need, lol.
